West Indian batting star Chris Gayle is back in business. After creating a controversy with his “Don’t blush baby” remarks to TV presenter Mel McLaughlin during the Big Bash League, the burly Jamaican exposed his Valentine’s Day date in full public view. Literally!Gayle, who turned up for Melbourne Renegades, was in the eye of a storm after he asked McLaughlin out for drinks on live television shortly after being dismissed during a match in Hobart. The left-handed opening batsman avoided suspension but the ‘act’ earned him a hefty fine.In all likelihood, Gayle won’t appear in future BBL editions.However, the 36-year-old continues to be a rage with T20 leagues around the world. He even recreated that awkward moment with McLaughlin in an interview with Tom Moody before a match in the Pakistan Super League.Gayle, who has sorted out a long-standing contract row with the West Indies Cricket Board, will be seen in India over the next few months.
